Kundalini means coiled power in Sanskrit. In yoga, it refers to a powerful, spiraling creative energy that resides like a coiled serpent at the root chakra (base of the spine). That energy can be awakened and sent up the spine to the crown chakra (top of the head) through prescribed postures and exercises. Kundalini yoga is designed to open pathways physically, energetically, and emotionally on all levels of our being so that we can reach our greatest potential.

This all-level yoga class will combine familiar Hatha yoga movements with an energizing Kundalini yoga set (Kriya) to attract positivity, repel negativity, and charge your aura. We’ll add some aerobic breathing, body tapping, and a nice long relaxation to tone and balance the nervous system.

Whether you are a seasoned Kundalini yoga student or a beginner, come raise your vibration for the year ahead. We’ll wrap it all up with an extended meditation to help focus and align you for a healthy and happy new year.
