Yin Yoga is a practice that strategically tractions the joints in the body’s core to help reverse the damage caused by aging, gravity and poor postural alignment.
This series offers a weekly tune up to undo the damage to our joints and connective tissue caused by misalignments, gravity, and the passage of time.
Classes include seated and reclining postures with your body supported by props (blankets, bolsters, blocks, etc). Postures are sustained for three to five minutes, stimulating the body to lay down healthy connective tissue and allowing you to experience stillness as the body repairs itself. Optional Reiki assists are offered to further promote healing.
No prior yoga experience is required. For those practicing from home, grab a bolster or some pillows, blankets and yoga blocks (if you have them); these props are available to use at the studio for those coming in-person.
Pricing Options: $125 for 6 weeks*, $105 for 5 weeks, $89 for 4 weeks, or $23 per class to drop-in
