Join us for a tranquil afternoon dedicated to hands-on learning and melting away stress and tension! Bring a loved one or cherished friend and cultivate a deeper connection as you learn how to give and receive the healing and ancient art of Thai massage.
Thai massage is a mindful practice that blends the principles of yoga with therapeutic touch, and has been practiced within families and communities in Thailand for thousands of years. Rather than kneading muscles on an elevated table, the practice involves a series of assisted stretches, compressions along energy lines, and gentle joint movements on a floor mat. All participants remain fully clothed and no oils or lotions are used.
The beauty of this practice lies in its adaptability -- to different body types and different relationships. While perfect for romantic partners seeking a unique way to celebrate their bond, this workshop will be equally enriching for friends and family members. The essential element is a willingness to embrace relaxation and learning, cultivate joy and create a lasting memory.
No prior experience is necessary! This workshop will begin with a short introduction about the history and theory of Thai Massage. You will be then be guided through each step, ensuring a comfortable and supportive atmosphere and an enjoyable learning experience for all skill levels, with questions welcome at any time.
