Mantras for Precarious Times - Powerful Peace, Peaceful Power with Natalie Dodson

Mantras for Precarious Times - Powerful Peace, Peaceful Power
with Natalie Dodson

In-Studio and Online
Sunday, January 19 | 3:00-5:00pm

Are you feeling shaken, stirred and in need of replenishment? Come join our circle, to explore and chant Sanskrit mantras on the themes of navigating obstacles, liberation & healing, joy & abundance, and condition-less love.

The language of Sanskrit originated from a deep awareness of how different sounds resonate within the body and mind. By chanting mantras, we can stimulate the vagus nerve and activate the parasympathetic response, soothing the nervous system to activate our most clear-thinking state of well-being. This is the state in which physical, mental and emotional healing become possible.

Don't consider yourself a singer? Don't be intimidated! Chanting is not about singing "well." It’s about tuning and cleansing your body with vibrations from your own voice. Chanting is healing and meditative, rather than performative. When you chant mantras, you can connect with your unique intuition and spiritual power.

This workshop will begin with brief, gentle movements and breathwork to prepare for chanting.  No yoga mats are needed, and chairs, blankets and bolsters will be provided.
