Introduction to Acupuncture with Erin Langley, LAc, DAcCHM

In-Studio and Online
Sunday, March 16 | 11:00am-1:00pm

Curious about acupuncture but not sure where to start?  Come learn how this ancient and scientifically-validated healing modality can support your health and well-being.

Join Erin Langley, L.Ac., DAcCHM to demystify acupuncture at this welcoming and informative event. We’ll explore some of its benefits — such as reducing stress, relieving pain, and improving sleep — and discuss its history and some of the research around its effectiveness.

Following the introduction, there will be time for Q&A and some gentle movement (led by Sarah Fishman), and then you’ll get to experience acupuncture for yourself in a supportive community setting!
~
In-studio participants can settle into a comfortable reclining or restorative yoga pose on a yoga mat. Erin will come around and administer the treatment, and then you get to rest!
~ For those joining by Zoom, Erin will instruct you on how to apply acupressure to the points she'll be treating on in-studio participants.

Whether you're new to acupuncture, returning to it after some time away, or a seasoned practitioner, come learn more about it. Your questions and curiosity are welcome, and Erin enjoys treating people who are new to the practice; she combines a gentle needling style with simple breathing practices to support people who may be feeling nervous or apprehensive. We look forward to sharing the wisdom of this healing experience with you!
