TGI-FriYAY Series: Restore & Renew with Carrie Vieira

Are you ready to unwind, relax, and nourish your body, mind, and soul? Join us to explore the art of deep relaxation, and get your weekend started with a self-care mini-retreat. Class will begin with a Hatha yoga movement practice, and then settle into restorative poses, culminating with savasana and guided meditation.
In restorative yoga, poses are supported by props and held for longer periods of time to allow for the release of tension and stress. The slower pace provides space to integrate breathwork and meditation practices along the way, promoting physical, emotional, mental, and energetic health and well-being.
The class is appropriate for yoga practitioners of all ages and experience levels. For those practicing from home, grab some pillows, blankets, yoga blocks (if you have them), and a chair. Don’t have all these props? No problem—we’ll adapt to what you have.
