Hey Mama, growing a human being is hard work! Add some self-care to your weekly schedule.

Are you ready for more joy and laughter in your life? Prenatal yoga can support and maintain the emotional, physical, and spiritual health of expecting mothers throughout one of the most exciting periods in their lives. Join Jean McDonald and other pregnant mothers for a rejuvenating and gentle prenatal practice. No prior yoga experience required! Class will include safe sequences to open and strengthen the body, to help keep you stable during pregnancy and to prepare you for labor. Reconnect with yourself and bond with your baby through meditation and breathing practices, and build community with others who are expecting. There is no time like the present to nurture yourself, find more peace and calm in daily life, and prepare for motherhood!

Expectant Moms can look forward to a brief massage at the end. Both partners can expect to leave some stress behind. Partners can be a spouse, significant other, mom, dad, sibling, friend, etc. -- anyone in your support network who is sharing this exciting journey with you!

Parenting can be tough, but it’s easier when you’re part of a village.

Calling all parents with little ones -- it's time to get you back on your mat and build some community.  This beginner-friendly yoga session is designed for parents and babies who are 6 weeks to one year old, and to get you out of the house in whatever state you’re in that day! Becoming a new parent is exciting and joyful, but can also be overwhelming and isolating. Move, breathe, and meet other new parents and babies in a relaxed and non-judgmental environment, while bonding with your baby in a unique and special way that only yoga can facilitate.  There will be opportunities to incorporate your baby into the poses and movements, and your baby can practice tummy time anytime!  Stretching and relaxation will be a part of every class.

Your teacher Julia Otten is a mom to fabulous preschooler twins, and also a prenatal and postnatal yoga instructor.

Family Yoga Fun (Kids Aged 3-7)

Cost: $35 per one adult + one child;
$12 each additional participant of any age**
The first 8 families to register will save 15% on the first pair

A unique and playful way to introduce kids — and their grown-ups — to the calming and empowering practice of yoga!

Family Yoga Fun features simple yoga warm ups, songs, and playful movements, including partner poses and creative group games. Alternating themes and story-based teaching make each class unique and fun. This is a great, accessible way to introduce children (and their adults!) to the practice of yoga. Connect and bond in a non-competitive space that encourages collaboration and cooperation, and cultivates calm and focus for families and the community we create together. The class also includes beginner forms of meditation and relaxation.

All ability levels welcome – no prior yoga experience necessary. BYO yoga mat if you have one, and if not, we have extras! All materials, including any art supplies and props needed, are included.

**This class is designed to meet the developmental needs of 3-7 year-olds. Older siblings are welcome to join in the family fun. It is ideal that each child be accompanied by a participating adult.
